AFG Projects: Elderly: Assistance

The past decade in Georgia has been extremely stressful and has produced many cases of depression, hopelessness and low self-esteem among the elderly.  Many of them have been left alone with only small pensions, which can hardly buy a loaf of bread.  AFG is assisting our Georgian partners in starting a model project of an Activity Club for elderly persons.

  • Activity Club  --  This is one of the first places in Georgia where lonely elderly persons can visit and enjoy company in a warm, welcoming environment.  (Learn More click here)
