How Can I Help?
Your financial gift is the most important single action you can take to help the vulnerable children and elderly in Georgia. U.S. dollars have great purchasing power in Georgia. This fact, when combined with AFG’s hands-on-project monitoring of our Georgian partners, means that your gift is multiplied many times over.

AFG Projects: Elderly: Hospice Care

Georgian hospitals will not receive terminally ill patients because they are not curable.  Responding to this need, Mother Mariam with AFG help, has started the first hospice in Georgia and the first School for Hospice Nurses in Georgia.

  • Mercy Center  --  The goals of the Mercy Center are to provide compassionate care for the seriously and terminally ill as well as to teach nursing skills to poor young women with few opportunities.  (Learn More click here)
