Over 50kg of strawberries were recently harvested from the new greenhouses at the Dzegvi Shelter Community to the delight of the residents! The strawberries have been successfully sold raising funds for living expenses in the community.
Since spring of 2021, The Dzegvi Shelter has not needed to purchase onions or greens (including salads, cilantro, parsley, and more) because of the success of the new greenhouses. The greenhouses are thanks to AFG's donors and the Turkish TIKA Foundation.
